GENERAL INFORMATIONS & CONDITIONS
A long time ago, two droll Spaniards made
a surrealistic movie that made them famous. One of them was the painter
Salvador Dalí, and the other was the film director Luis Buñuel.
Together they wrote the script for the film Le Chien Andalous.
We adopted this name because surrealistic things happen in Andalusia,
like the fact that we moved to this place to find marvellous houses
for you.
Andalusia occupies the entire southern part of Spain and is a region
rich in culture. Phoenicians, Greek, Romans, Carthaginians, Visigoths
and Arabs all left their mark on Al Andalus.
The region is blessed by the gods because of its fantastic climate
and wide variety of scenery. From endless rows of olive trees and
fertile valleys to rocky mountains. From vast orange groves to deserts.
Nothing is impossible in Andalusia.
You can walk through the snow and then go take a swim in the Mediterranean.
Would you like to experience this too?
What kinds of houses do we have?
The owners of all the houses, including us, are members of the Andalusian
Association of Rural Accommodations. At one of the meetings it became
clear that we needed to promote our houses abroad.
Our houses are duly inspected and offer a quality warranty, similar
to the English systems of keys and diamonds and the German DLG quality
mark (three olives is the same as DLG).
We offer a unique variety of houses in districts which are not yet
visited by mass-tourism; like houses in the Alpujarras, a wonderful
mountainous area south of Granada and not far from the Mediterranean
Sea, with white villages built by the Moors on the slopes of the Sierra
Nevada, it´s peaks reaching 3500 m.
Also we have different houses in the Valle de Lécrin, the Valley
of Joy as the Arabs called the place, located between Granada and
the Mediterranean Sea.
If you are looking for a more remote place, perhaps the fabulous old
hacienda with various houses and apartments, in the province of Cordoba,
in the heart of Sierra Morena, where still the iberean linx dwells
is your choice.
In the biggest natural park of all Spain, the Sierra de Cazorla, Segura
and las Villas we have some nice apartments and studios in the historic
village of Segura.
A good place for family- or groupholidays are the three old farms,
dating from the 19th century in the Sierra de Castril, on the frontier
between the provinces of Granada and Jaen.
In the biggest forrest of corkoaks in the world, in the Sierra de
Grazalema, not far from Ronda, you can chose also some of our very
authentic holidayhomes.
If however you prefer a quiet place near the sea then we can recommend
you some studios and apartments just near the village of Vejer de
la Frontera, at the Costa de la Luz in the province of Cadiz or some
studios suitable for 2 persons in the natural park of Cabo de Gata
in the province of Almería.
